Jerry Reynolds - (Rhythm Guitar)

Jerry started playing guitar at 10 yrs of age while in jr high school.  Jerry also played sax and clarinet in the school band.  He went to full time guitar and started a rock band his freshman year in high school and entered their first talent contest as the Runaways; and won.

That sent them to play on t.v. in Indianapolis. The show was called bandstand 13. The band then played sock-hops and school events all over Tippecanoe County. They won several battle of the bands.  Jerry then filled in with several local bands before he started the Deuces band and moved to play and win more battle of the bands.  The band also played the Indiana State Fair, Indiana Beach, and Frazier's- landing, an Indianapolis amusement park.

During that time, Jerry played opening for many great acts Everly Bros. Bobby Goldsboro, and The Fenderman.                                  After graduating from High school he got married.  After the first child, work before play became more important and he taught music for Ruddy Mahara music co, and was hired into the Lafayette Fire Dept.

The Lafayette fire department started a live band for the fire prevention show and Jerry was one of many selected to perform with the group.  Jerry, after 39 + yrs of service, still finds time to play with the group teaching fire safety.  He is still playing his 1964 fender Jaguar he had in high school.
